WorldArts hosts Master Songwriting Class with Desmond Child!

SHARE

WorldArts was thrilled to host our first Songwriting Masterclass with the legendary Desmond Child!  Desmond has written hundreds of hits (‘Livin’ on a Prayer’, ‘Livin’ la Vida Loca’, and ‘Waking Up in Vegas’ to name a few) for superstars like Aerosmith, Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, Kelly Clarkson, Bon Jovi and Carrie Underwood over a career spanning decades.  We were honored to have him here on the WorldArts Stage to help a select group of artists with their songwriting.  Here is what some of the artists had to say about the event:

“Having one of the great songwriters of our time comb through our songs line by line is an experience you can only hope for.”
Kison

“Eye-opening and thought-provoking.  Having never done anything like this before, I am very grateful to have been a part of this course.”
Charlotte Fontaine (The Fontaines)

“To have the opportunity to be in the mind of such a talented and experienced writer is a dream come true.”
Michelle Blanchard (MADYX)

“The masterclass with Desmond Child was extremely informative, ear opening, and inspiring. This is exactly what I needed to motivate me to write more everyday.”
Pablo Torres (Robbery, Inc.)

“Very, very inspiring and informational.  I will become a better songwriter because of Desmond. It is imperative to attend masterclasses such as these, and to hear stories of the highs and lows of the industry.”
London Shover

The artists who attended were all selected after submitting to this exclusive Opportunity on our site. WorldArts gives artists the tools to help them perfect their techniques and continue to grow in their craft!

We are now accepting submissions for the next Desmond Child Songwriting Class which will take place in Desmond’s personal studio in Nashville on March 18th and 19th! This Opportunity closes on March 11th, so submit now!
