Los Angeles indie rock band Travelers played alongside Work Friend, Cuñao, and Bür Gür at the WorldArts Culver City studio Friday for an intimate, eclectic show. Work Friend kicked off the night with songs off their newest album “Slouching”, with Latin Alternative band Cuñao following the set with some of our favorites “Lluvia,” “Gaitan,” and “El Llano.” Burger switched up the mood with their song Green Sauce and got the crowd amped for the final set.
Travelers opened their set with a scene from the documentary “You never had it: An evening with Bukowski,” produced by Alevi inc and Ithaca films and directed by Matteo Borgardt, showing scenes they scored from the film. The small space captured the music perfectly as Travelers performed songs off their 2016 album “Sleeptalking.”
