RL Grime Drops Halloween V Mix

For the past five years Henry Steinway has been releasing Halloween mixes under his music project, RL Grime. The Los Angeles based music producer has been heavily influential in defining the trap genre from working with hip-hop artists to throwing down a grimey trap set at a festival.

This year’s fifth annual Halloween mix, RL Grime features a special introduction by Pharrell Williams putting RL and WeDidIt team on, and of course a cameo from Goosebumps author, R.L. Stein. This mix feels much more experimental, but still very much heavy leaning towards trap and hip-hop, with a little techno. He shows off his flawless transitioning between hip-hop, techno and industrial sounds, making it evident why he’s one of the industry’s top DJs with a Vegas residency.

The mix featured hits by Vince Staples, Gesaffelstein and Bauuer, but the most buzz worthy track on the mix is RL’s new collaboration with Skrillex and What So Not “Waiting” which everyone’s patiently waiting on dropping November 3.
