Ovtlier releases new EP “What Doesn’t Kill You”!

Metal/Hard Rock group Ovtlier has released their debut EP What Doesn’t Kill You! Comprised of Joey Arena (lead vocals), Paul Milne (guitar/vocals), Joey Lana (drums), Joe Syracusa (guitar/vocals), and Cosmo Pusateri (bass/vocals) these Rochester, NY-born artists are able to do it all, including a surprising hard rock cover of Taylor Swift‘s …Ready For It? The new seven song EP “takes you on a journey through the mental and emotional vibrations that we experience through loss, self-doubt, anger and animosity, betrayal and overcoming through it all” Arena told Distrolution. “Musically, all the songs travel through the genres of rock and metal that make up our desired identity”.

Formed in 2014 by frontman Arena, Ovtlier has been featured in Alt Press, Metal Nexus, and Revolver Magazine, and has been selling out shows all over the Northeast. Drawing influences from bands like Breaking Benjamin, 30 Seconds To Mars, Korn, and 90s grunge, Arena first began playing guitar at age eleven on a 3-string guitar. After achieving commercial success with his first band Young Bloods, Arena’s struggles as an artist lead him to find the ultimate identity of what would become Ovtlier’s debut EP. If you love the band, you can call and let them know! Leave a voicemail at 510-306-ROCK and tell them your favorite track on on the new EP.
