Magnastic LIVE on the WorldArts Stage!

Magnastic stopped by the WorldArts Stage for an exclusive Periscope set & interview!

Magnastic is a 4 piece party band with Byron Russell on vocals, Jeff Shook on guitar, Matt Shlapak on bass, and Matt Barreca on drums! They shared their eclectic style of music described as a mix of hip hop and rock but more clearly inspired by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys, with a dash of Sublime. Magnastic entertained all 128 live Periscope viewers with their catchy songs, explosive dance moves, shiny gold pants, and 70s inspired outfits. If you missed the live stream, you can watch their full performances of original songs “2 Fine 4 a 9 2 5”, “Filipino Town”, and “Fat Off the Bat” below.

Check out their interview and learn how they got the name “Magnastic”!

Stay tuned for their new EP to be released this year, by following Magnastic on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and checking out their WorldArts Profile.
