Last night we caught Haim’s performance at the Fonda Theater for day 15 of 30 days in LA playing songs from their debut album, Days Are Gone, and played two new singles “Give Me Just A Little Of Your Love” and “Nothing’s Wrong” off their upcoming sophomore album. A date is still to be determined, but it seems like the album is well on it’s way since the band decided to test out some new tunes for a live audience.

Haim is an American rock band started by the Haim sisters Este, Danielle and Alana, who grew up in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley and have attended many shows at the Fonda Theater growing up. Once the sisters turned their amateur family band into a career they expanded from radio covers to writing their own music in their living room. Now the sisters added a drummer Dash Hutton who has been performing live shows with them.

Haim’s 2013 debut album, Days are Gone, helped earn the sister band a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards in 2015. The sister-trio then joined Taylor Swift to open on select dates for her massive 1989 World Tour that following summer.

I guess we all have to hold tight a little bit longer before that second album drops… But stay tuned for more 30 days in LA follow us on Instagram @worldartsmusic for live updates from Snakehips this Saturday, at The Wiltern.
