Indie-Rock Singer Dylan Dunlap has released his new single Microphones and Lights! The latest track from this soulful Los Angeles performer was produced by Ben Zelico and recorded at B Music & Cookup Records. Dunlap focuses his art and songwriting on helping those dealing with mental illness, and by engaging his social media following through his transparency and shared struggles. His passionate live shows seek to raise awareness and to comfort every attendee so they know they’re not alone. Dunlap is donating 100% of the digital proceeds from his most recent self-produced record, Feels Right at Home to the PSA Behavioral Health Agency in Phoenix, AZ. Their vision is to bring services to multiple communities by promoting hope, recovery, diversity, and wellness via innovative programs, affordable housing, and peer-directed treatment for children and adults with behavioral health issues.
Dunlap found his love for music at a young age, and began pursuing a music career in any way he could. After studying at the Berklee College of Music, he began performing on the streets of Los Angeles, which helped lead to his debut on Season 8 of NBC’s The Voice. He has since gone on to open for artists like Molly Ringwald, Phil Wickham, and Howie Day. He released his first single, Ella, in 2015 which was followed by his debut album Thoughts Become Things in 2016. Dunlap will embark on a tour of the U.K. beginning with a Sofar Sounds show in London on February 22nd, before returning to play at The Troubadour in Los Angeles on March 15th so get your tickets now.
