The Black Delta Movement has released their newest single King Mosquito! The latest track from this U.K. Psychadelic/Garage Rock band was recorded at LoveBuzz Studios with Little Barrie collaborator Mike Burnham. King Mosquito is off their upcoming debut album Preservation which drops on March 30th, and is available for pre-order now. Comprised of Matt Burr and Dominic Abbott, the duo hails from Kingston Upon Hull and draws on influences ranging from The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Paul Weller, The Small Faces and The Black Keys among others.
The Black Delta Movement made their live debut at Hull’s Freedom Festival in 2010, and have since played in support of bands like The Jesus & Mary Chain, The Stranglers, Temples, Drenge, The View, Shaun Ryder, Twin Atlantic, The Bohicas, Jefferson Starship, Steve Cradock, and The Temperance Movement. Their explosive sound is both raucous and invasive, giving them a mighty punch of psychedelic danger, heavy rhythms and a crushing beat. After getting airplay on KCRW and KROQ and performing multiple international gigs, the band was due to go on tour as support for Little Barrie until the sad death of Virgil Howe. BDM has major plans for 2018 however, with new U.K. and European tours to be announced in support of the new album.
