Singer-Songwriter Albert Man has released the video for his latest track Say Something Loving! The new song was produced and mixed by Grammy-nominated producer Adam Coltman, recorded at Jake Gosling’s Sticky Studios, and was mastered at Abbey Road Studios by Geoff Pesche. Say Something Loving is the first of a series of singles this London-based artist will release in 2018, and marks a new songwriting direction from his previous work, with its nostalgic, yet modern pop sound accompanying his trademark keyboards. The single is available for pre-order, and will be released on February 2nd with a launch show party on February 7th at the 1901 Arts Club in London. This Manchester-born artist plays both solo and with a full band, having hit up festivals like The Great Escape, Camden Rocks, Liverpool Sound City, Reverb Festival, Tramlines, Standon Calling and in support of Muse at the O2 Priority Lounge. Man was featured on Best Of British Unsigned 2017 as a One To Watch, and followed that up by being twice chosen as their Featured Artist of the Day twice, and was ultimately nominated for Best Unsigned Male.
Man released his self-produced debut album Cheap Suit in 2016, which was awarded Best Independent Album by the blog, Alternative Friday. His songs have been played on BBC Introducing in London, BBC Essex, BBC Leicester, FUBAR and Wandsworth Radio. He has performed live multiple times on BBC Essex and also on London Live as part of their music sessions, while also being heard on Tom Robinson‘s Fresh Faves. Man’s second EP Nothing Of Nothing Much had its sold-out launch at St. Pancras Old Church in 2017, and the recording has been released as a live album called Live At St. Pancras Old Church. Man also organizes his own music festival called the Music Makers Festival, which showcases a curated lineup of the best indie artists.
